I decided to combine the kids blogs into one. I can't keep up with their two blogs/websites, plus my own blogs. There is always so much going on with these two anyway that it will be easier this way.
I can't believe how lucky we are to have such great kids. They are so well behaved, eat well, sleep well and are just such a joy to be around. Something happened recently that made me take stock of just what we have going here. Calvin and I are committed to raising a strong, happy family that the kids will be able to depend on when we are gone. They only have one cousin so they will really only have each other. We have so much to offer our children; love, education, companionship, respect, compassion, wisdom, traditions, fun, laughter, acceptance and security. The bond that Calvin and I have as a couple has grown stronger with the birth of our children. We have so much love to share and are an example of what a happy marriage should be. Being a parent is the most fulfilling, challenging, exciting, fun and heartbreaking thing we have ever done. And we are better people because of them. Children are a gift from God and we have been truly blessed. When we said our vows three years ago...I hoped that this would be our life. I love our life together and can't wait to see what the future holds.
On to the kids. Alex has been doing so many new things lately! He has gone from walking to running and loves to play outside with the rocks and his water table. He is talking like crazy and says several words. UP, MALLORY (dat do) and YES!
Mallory just started to roll the other day. She is also talking and squealing up a storm. I'm expecting all the neighbor cat's at my door any minutes because she sounds like a cat in heat! She loves to hang out with her Daddy and loves to smile and laugh. It is hard to believe that she will be 4 months old in a few days.
We went to Pinedale Wyoming to visit Grandpa Bob last weekend. The kids did great in the car and Alex had the best time swimming.
