As I sit here watching my children play and wondering what their future holds. I got mad. And when Mamma gets mad...you better look out!
I am so mad that I called AIG in New York. I wanted to talk to Edward M. Liddy (the CEO) but surprise, surprise...he isn't listed in the directory. I ended up talking to another Edward who works in New York across the street from AIG. He sells insurance to insurance companies. Anyway, he gave me the phone number to AIG public relations office!
The gal that answered the phone was not happy to hear from this little old housewife in Utah, questioning why AIG executives spent MY tax dollars on spa treatments. She took my name and number and said she would get back to me.
Please. Everyone that reads this....Call AIG. Demand to know why they are throwing our money away! I will not tolerate anyone treating my children's future like this.
They should not get away with this!

Edited to add: I just emailed Oprah and told her to sick Suze Orman on AIG. They need some serious help!
Edited again to add: I just emailed The White House...asking them to stop payment on the $85 million dollar check to AIG.
Edited once more to add: Breaking News! The Federal Reserve is loaning them ANOTHER $37.8 Billion on top of the $85 Billion. WHY?????

Did you know that it was McCain's top political advisor,Phil Gramm who deregulated the CDS market back in 2000. And without that, AIG would not have been able deal in credit default swaps -- essentially gambling?
