I love going to the mall and trying on clothes and looking at shoes and selecting outfits. But I also love to sit at home in my pajamas late at night shopping on the internet. From outfits for the kids to spices for my kitchen. OH and Ebay. I love Ebay!
So because of all of this shopping, we tend to get a lot of packages!
Everytime the doorbell rings...Alex runs to the door yelling BOX BOX! He is so excited when we get a box and he likes to help me open them to see what is inside. I was thinking that this might be a sign that I have a little bit of a shopping problem.
Friday night, Calvin was going to be very late coming home because he bought me this.
I decided that ordering a pizza from Dominos would be a great idea and we waited patiently for it to arrive. The doorbell rang and Alex and Mallory ran for the door.
Alex: Is it a box?
Me: No, honey...It's a Pizza!
Alex: *look of shock upon his face* REALLY???
Mallory: THANK YOU MOMMY!
Alex and Mallory do the happy pizza dance around the kitchen and then eat most of a large pizza. They only left 2 1/2 pieces for their Daddy. I had the Oven Baked Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich and it was really good!
Mallory thanks me for everything lately....for making breakfast, for getting her chocolate milk, for giving her Gummy Bear Vitamins, for putting her down for a nap and changing her diaper. She thanks me so much that it is starting to feel insincere. Because this weekend...she started to say Thank You MommyDaddyNicky. (she calls her brother Nicky)
Calvin is going on a business trip tomorrow and he won't be back until Thursday night and we leave Friday for Las Vegas. I am hoping that the kids don't miss him too much and will be good for me and then not be too upset when he turns around and leaves again on Friday. Hopefully the fact that Uncle Rob and Nana are here to play with will distract them from the fact that we are gone.
Did I mention that we have a lot of biting going on here? And that when we get back we are going to start using the potty? Oh, the life of a Mommy with Toddlers!
Did you catch this commercial on Saturday Night Live last night? It's hilarious! And gross. I gaged when I watched it!
