Oh how funny! I love her laugh! And the song was so right! You're going to miss this... I'm just starting into the empty nest phase of my life with one of my three moved out now... I do miss those days and it brings tears to my eyes because I won't get them back.
Mallory is adorable, I love that face too :) and Bobbi! Oh my word! How exciting! Potty training is not going so well here either, I've come upon an immense wall of resistance. Someone's not ready to be a big girl yet. I keep forgetting it's a 'process' and they are in control.
i know you probably DON'T want to hear this, but my doctor said, and i am now a firm believer, that your kid will decide for himself when he will go on the potty.
i know. i too went thru weeks of potty training hell to eventually just give up. one day, several months later, henry got out of bed and asked to put on a pull up, he peed in the potty all day, and he had maybe 3 accidents from that time on. he was 3 yrs and 4 months old.
anyhow ... we're all diff just a suggestion and good luck!
Grant watched this with me and he laughed at the idea of Curious George EATING coffee. That's just wacky. The booger thing cracked me up!!!
As far as potty training I can just tell you to hang in there. I think you've started a little bit early, but I promise that no one goes off to college wetting their pants.
It might happen after a party on Greek Row, but it never happens before. :)
Your interview was so funny. You amaze me with your wit and humor and your sweet little girl is so adorable. How can you stand her being so cute! What fun. Enjoy them while they are little and don't worry about the potty training--they get it when they are ready. I don't think any of my girls had kindergartners that weren't potty trained in their classes! Looking forward to your surprise day next week.
She is sooooo cute! And I'm impressed that she didn't eat the boogers. That's what my kids would do (at least one of them - I won't out him - although the "him" narrows it down to 2 out of 3 possibilites...)
And I'm having HUGE problems with George peeing on the floor and furniture. I'm not even really enforcing potty training. He just keeps taking his diaper off and peeing wherever the fancy strikes him. It's like having a puppy in the house.
And he doesn't even have the decency to deny it. I ask, "who did this?!" and he willingly volunteers, "George!" As if I asked you created a sculpture of the Virgin Mary out of pasta..."Oh - that was me. Sorry - did I not tell you about that?"
George is a naughty little boy...which he'll happily own up to immediatly after his time out. Grrrrr.
Your daughter is so stinkin' cute! I loved when she looked at the tissue and said "boogie". That is just so funny! It is something like what one of my boys would have said when they were little. Make sure you save it for when she starts dating to show to her boyfriends, she'll love it!! :-)
Love the Mallory interview. You can tell she has a great mama just by listening to her. She has a great sense of humor and is such a sweetie. Please do more interviews with Mallory!! I'd love to see an Alex interview too.
Oh my goodness the interview was soooooo funny! Then you added the song and I burst into tears. hahaha Love the boogie. HA!

Another great vlog, my friend! Mallory's a "lady-like" girl after my own heart. I blow my nose in the shower. :-)
