More Flip Flops: Sponge Bob Rocks

The kids and I had just gotten home from a wonderful coffee playdate with some friends when the doorbell rang.  We rarely get visitors so I thought it was the Jehovah Witness lady that comes by often.  I opened the door to find a Fed Ex driver on my stoop!  He had a package for Alex.

Not only did the wonderful, fabulous and over-achieving Becca host a flip flop swap for Mom's...she also hosted one for kids!  When I asked Alex and Mallory if they wanted a pen pal for the summer they said Yes, what's a pen pal.  iKeith has given me grief for signing them up because they can't write.  Details, details.

Alex was matched up with Isaiah and his Mom is Jenny from Jenny Kate's Spot.  Alex was thrilled with what was in the box and even shared his Skittles with Mallory.

Skittles!
Sponge Bob Flip Flops
Sponge Bob Coloring and Activity Book
Oklahoma Coloring Book
A handwritten note from Isaiah

Sponge Bob is HUGE at our house so this was so perfect for Alex...Thank you Isaiah and Jenny!

iKeith has a phone interview with what will hopefully be his future employer today.  Please say a prayer for him at 5pm MST.  This job would be a dream come true!

Thanks!

  3. You live in the lad of the Jehovah Witness and the Mormons. I bet you have people knocking on your door all the time.

And that is a cute package. Baby Girl loves to get mail.

  4. Yeah, Isaiah wanted me to write some long drawn-out letter about saving the sea turtles, but I told him that this first letter had to be short and sweet...we were getting ready to miss the Fed-Ex drop-off time! LOL. :)

I'm glad he loved the package!!! Getting mail is just the ultimate excitement for kiddos! Isaiah loved his package too!! A big THANKS to Becca for putting it all together!

Prayers for iKeith! Hope you have good news for us soon!
