I'm participating in Shawn and Mamarazzi's monthly vlog again. This month they wanted to hear us say a bunch of words to see if we have an accent. I don't believe that I do. I've lived in Colorado my entire life...except for that little jaunt over to Utah.
Here are the words in case I do have an accent and you can't understand what I'm saying.
Aunt, Route, Wash, Oil, Theater, Iron, Salmon, Caramel, Fire, Water, Sure, Data, Ruin, Crayon, Toilet, New Orleans, Pecan, Both, Again, Probably, Spitting image, Alabama, Lawyer, Coupon, Mayonnaise, Syrup, Pajamas, Caught, Antenna, Rootbeer, Ambulance, Museum, Milk, Orange, Apricot
The second half of this vlog was filmed in the middle of my sickness and I'm completely hopped up on some cold medicine. I don't remember sharing soooo much information. I finally watched it yesterday and I'm appalled at myself. I didn't have time to re-shoot that portion so you get to see it.

ReplyDeleteAnd it is "puh-cahn". Most words don't bother me, but for some reason when someone says "pee-can" I cringe. I mean, just look at the pronunciation. Ew.

ReplyDeleteI love you! I too died laughing at all of your interruptions, especially when Mallory asked if daddy was home :) Love your duvet cover!!! We only differed on a couple of pronunciations and I would also say that I don't have an accent :) I love the way you say "coupon" ;)
