It's Want to Know Wednesday and Impulsive Addict is the keeper of the questions this week! Impulsive Addict is super nosey and I suspect that she really wants to be my BFF. She leaves the best comments and emails me all the time with witty responses to my comments.
Ready? Okay!
If money didn't matter, where would your perfect vacation take place? Briefly describe.
I would vacation in Italy with some friends (i'd leave my husband at home with the kids because he has no desire to leave the country). I'd eat orgasm pizza (ala Eat Pray Love) and drink a ton of wine, bread and cheese.
What's a bad habit that you have (or had) that is/was hard to break?
I'm a hair twirler. I've done it since I was a baby and I can't stop. I've cut my hair short to prevent it and I still find a way to do it. I do it when I'm bored, nervous, scared and happy.
If you weren't on a diet or counting calories, what would you like to have for dinner tonight?
iKeith and I are on a diet that we just started on Sunday. If we have a free meal, I would either have Mexican food and a Margarita or Sushi and a bottle of Saki.
If you had the chance to interview anyone in the world, dead or alive, who would it be and what's one question that you would ask?
I think I would interview Martha Stewart or Oprah. I love both of them and they've both been a HUGE influence on my life. I would ask Martha for tips about organizing my desk and preparing for the paper chase that's about to start when Alex begins school in 3 months and 13 days. I would ask Oprah what she eats and to take me on a trip with her.
Describe yourself in 6 words.
Passionate, Loving, Judgemental, Persistent, Pessimistic, Happy.
So Friends....give me one word you would use to describe me. That was the toughest question for me!
Nice! Speaking of organizing, have you heard of the Flylady. I have found it helpful...
ReplyDeleteYou just did a fantastically lovely job of organizing your desk, Martha should be asking YOU for advice!
ReplyDeleteI don't think hair twirling is a bad habit, it's not like you're pulling it out, right??
And I think it's so sweet that you've got a coundown going for when Alex starts school. :)
Your vacation location seems to be a popular one! I twirl my hair occasionally but I tend to run my fingers throw the top more than twirl which makes for very flat hair!
ReplyDeleteYou're not anxious about Alex starting school are you?
Poor Connie what will you do minus one child for the majority of the day?
I read a great post on Aiming Low the other day about organizing. It is basically to have a family binder where you keep all of the important paperwork.
ReplyDeleteI want to go to Italy with you!
My sister twirled her hair so much she got a bald spot. True story.
ReplyDeleteI love Italy AND I'm a hair twirler too!
ReplyDeleteHow funny is that?
Italy, another place I'd love to go!
ReplyDeleteSushi, it's just about everyone's wish. LOL! It's so yummy!
Another hair twirler, I tie nasty knots some times, and I do it all the time, unless my hands are otherwise occupied. It's one of the reasons I nibble on sunflower seeds when I read, it keeps my hand out of my hair.
ReplyDeleteItaly sounds nice, but I still want a beach with a cabana boy or two.
ok you cannot tell him i told you this...
ReplyDeleteBUT
Big Daddy twirls his hair on the top of his head.
it freaks me out to see MY manly man do something so effeminate.
i would call you funny.
Italy for me too- food, shoes, espresso and gelato what more does one need- except for visits to the fat farm so we can start all over. ;)
ReplyDeleteTake me with you to Italy. I wanna eat until I can't eat any more!
ReplyDeleteI twirl only the left side. It's bad. Like really bad.
I've never tried Saki. M drinks it all the time. I just can't do it.
You aren't pessimistic are you? Do you judge me? I bet you do. DANG YOU CONNIE!
Italy's on my list too, it looks so beautiful. And I'm all about the bread. I could eat it for every meal. One word to describe you . . . Kind. And I know that you're one super cool mama!
ReplyDeleteItaly would be in my top 10 list of places to go!
ReplyDeleteI will go to Italy in a heartbeat with you - when do ya want to go?
ReplyDelete~Becca
