It's so nice to be thought of every day when a friend sees a squirrel. It's kind of like how every time I see a Coke Glass...I think of my friend Kathy.
I have a friend in England, you may remember her from the Royal Wedding. No...she wasn't IN the Royal Wedding, she and I skyped during the wedding. Anyway, she took this picture the other day and posted it on my facebook wall.

I was at the pool last night watching iKeith and the kids play in the water and I ran into Nick the Squirrel Hunter and he told me a story about how he was chasing squirrels around my apartment the other day and he was shooting them with a BB gun. One of my neighbors called the cops on him and he got a ticket for discharging a fire arm.
Maybe the squirrels called the cops on him. Or maybe it was Don/Dawn.
I know it wasn't me. I'm all for shooting those rodents!
He also told me that the cost to repair the damage to the basement and laundry room....is $9500.

ReplyDeleteA bb gun is considered a firearm? I thought people in CA were all into hunting and stuff. I'm pretty sure someone would be laughed at here for shooting squirrels with a bb gun.

We were hunting for squirrels for you all over Austin :) And of course - I have a ton in my backyard (oak trees) - but thankfully they stay outside. Although sometimes I swear I hear them on the roof....

Ha! I just looked out my window and there are squirrels running thru my oak trees! As long as they stay up there we're good though. That is A Lot of money!
ReplyDeleteI'm surprised about the BB gun, I didn't think that was considered a real firearm. Maybe he should look into an airsoft gun, or perhaps a slingshot? You should ask him about those.

You poor thing, they seem to be chasing after you and I just love them. We feed them out of our hands around here, they are like pets.
ReplyDeleteIn my area, it's bunny rabbits - that started out really cute and now, I'm all for extermination. Maybe you can convince your friends you'd rather be a bunny than a squirrel?
