Take Me To Bora Bora

I'm excited to tell you all about my weekend trip but I decided to make that post into a guest post for R We There Yet Mom so you'll have to wait a few days for that.

This means it's the perfect opportunity to join Kenlie at All The Weigh for Friend Making Monday. And the perfect segway because she is talking about Dream Vacations!

FMM: Dream Vacation

If you were given two tickets that you (and someone you chose) could use to fly anywhere in the world, where would you go? And why?

Anywhere in the world? I would fly to Bora Bora with my husband and force him to relax without his iPhone, iPad and computer.

The inside lagoon (Motu Tape - Le Meridien Bora Bora)

I would force him to drink tropical drinks and collect the umbrellas.

I would make him dance to drum music and sleep until he was rested.

I would go to Bora Bora.

Where would you go?
Edited:

Apparently....you can't FLY to Bora Bora.  You have to fly to Papeete, the capital of Tahiti.  Flights from Denver are $2100 per person.  Then you need a boat to get to Bora Bora.  I can see this never happening in my lifetime.  But it's fun to dream....

  1. Oh that's a good question, sometimes I forget about FMM (like today for example).

Bora Bora, I don't even know where that is!!!

  2. That looks like a fun place to go. I'm not sure if being disconnected would help me relax or not. The thought kind of stresses me out.

  3. Oooo a vacation with no phones, computers, connection to the outside world... love the idea! Sometimes reconnecting is so hard to do. :)

    Stopping by from FMM!

  4. I love that photo!! I can almost hear the waves crashing.

LOL, I know I could never get the hubby to leave the gadgets behind. Even if he managed leave leave the crackberry and laptop behind, I know he'd have a radio in hand.

    Mmmm umbrella drinks!

  5. Could you take me? I'll leave my computer, iphone and ipad at home. My Shawn vacay is coming to a close and I still have 6 days before M and Emma Kate come back home. =(

  7. Tahiti made my top 3 choices for my dream vacation, but I ended up choosing Fiji b/c there was more WWII history there, which I like but basically I'm on the same page as you! Stopping by from FMM.

When we go back to where our Parents live (and Island) we love to relax and go at a slower pace...and we have no cell phones!

  9. I can't believe the price of that airfare. That just hurts me. Bora Bora is off my list. I do want to go to Hawaii some day though!
