Call me a horny housewife.....but I loved Magic Mike. I'm seeing lots of tweets and blog posts about how wrong it is to like the movie and objectifying men. If loving naked men is wrong....I don't want to be right!
I did feel badly for my husband. Aunt Bobbi and I saw the film at Noon while he took the kids to Brave. Then we went and sat on a hot patio and drank a couple beers. By the time we got home I was tired and his window of opportunity had closed. Poor guy!
Katie Holmes
I love Katie. We were pregnant at the same time (Suri and Alex were born two days apart) and we're both married to older men. I'm proud of her for putting her daughters needs first and breaking free. She must have really had some dirt on Tom for this divorce to be settled so quickly.
The Bachelorette
I don't know why....but Emily is annoying me. Her outfits are weird and she wears too many necklaces. I really just can't wait for this season to be over so we can see how long her and the man of her dreams last. The funniest tweet I saw last night said that...in the most dramatic rose ceremony ever(!) Emily picks Chris Harrison and they adopt Jef (with one F). Funny!!
Bachelor Pad
I'm excited for this piece of trashy TV because.....ED IS BACK! Do you remember Ed? He was the winner of Jillian's heart and they didn't make it. I fell hard for Ed and I can't wait to see him on my TV again.

School
For those that are keeping track....there are 37 days until school starts. Don't get me wrong...I'm not trying to rush summer. I just like to be aware of how much time is left so I can plan things accordingly. I don't like to be caught unprepared or unaware. This is why my family will survive the zombie apocalypse. This is also why....I bought the school supply kit from the PTA, school clothes have been purchased and hung in the closet and a lunch box has been pick out and stashed away for the first day of school. WE are READY!
Drinking

A.) I am so annoyed that I have not had time to see Magic Mike; I think objectifying men is only fair. B.) I've been watching some of the NBA summer league; it's a nice in between before NFL. C.) I have been drinking outside lately too! Even though it's been high 90s here, it just seems appropriate for summer.

I'm trying to rush summer. It's our first one here in the new town, and it's SO DAMN HOT. I'm not a fan of 100 degree days at 11am. It'd be better if we were closer to the water or somewhere that we could cool off.
