TEN THINGS TO SMILE ABOUT IN OCTOBER
Attending Oktoberfest in Downtown Denver this year has inspired the theme for Christmas AND Keith's 50th birthday party next September.
2.) Donuts with my girl.
We found a new donut shop in our neighborhood that makes the most delicious apple fritters. LOVE!
3.) Giving gifts to friends.
This one was for my friend Heather. She's an officer in the PTA. Need I say more?
4.) Fall
No explanation necessary.
5.) Funny Kids
This is the wig from my halloween costume. It's a hot Honey Boo Boo mess! For $5 I'll send you a picture of Keith wearing it.
6.) Shopping for Christmas Jammies.
I love doing this. It gets me in the mood every season!!
7.) Having a little fun with Heather's husband.
His sign is actually for Starbucks gift cards. He's selling them for school. His daughter is mortified.
8.) Volunteering in the classroom
I helped assemble 45 Pine Cone Turkeys. For free, I will send you a list of reasons why this craft should never be made again. Any where. Any time. Unless there is booze involved. Lots and lots of booze.
9.) Surprise presents in the mail from lovely friends!

10.) Fun Halloween Parties!
Do you have a friend like Heather? One day I said, Hey...we should have a party for the kids and she said HECK YEAH and then opened up her home and made a yummy spread of desserts and appetizers. I made Chili and other friends brought mini quiches and cupcakes and a great time was had by all! But the Okie basketball team lost. Sad Panda.
Sorry. I couldn't stop with ten. Did you see how much I talked about Heather? Heather makes me smile. By the way Heather. My husband REALLY liked your costume. :)
