I just laughed out loud! I can never imagine my husband mention my TOM to anyone. Haha, poor pharmacist.

My proudest pharmacist moment was when I basically ripped off my big toenail, didn't really know what to do, Google and WebMD scared the shit out of me but I didn't want to go to the doctor. So, the lucky pharmacist had me put my leg up on the counter to look at it. Everyone in line was REAL thankful for that! But he did help me get the over-the-counter supplies I needed. No doctor visit necessary :)

My husband has that same issue. However, we are on the other side of the coin. My husband is now questioning the very expensive injectable that I have to take every three months and why sometimes it makes me feel like a stark raving *itch! Yep, medically induced menopause..

We are the type that won't go to the dr unless we're pretty positive we're dying. ;o) I totally use the pharmacist to ask medical questions. And the internet...because we know how reliable that is. ;o)

My husband is constantly telling me to bring the kids to the DR for the tiniest sniffle and I fight him each time. I hate the looks the Docs give you when you bring your kids in for NOTHING. NOt to mention the stress of dragging two kids to the dr. My husband now uses my sister the nurse (his version of the pharmacist) and now he annoys the shit out of her instead of me ;)

COming from someone who worked with pharmacists for 15 years...they know drugs - and what drugs to NOT take with each other and that is about it. They know NOTHING about symptoms and how to treat things - tell iKeith I thought he was smarter than that! Oh and to feel better.
