Too funny - making his ears bleed!
At least my kids and I liked the same music. We all used to sing really loud to songs together.
However, I really cannot stand the movie Dumb & Dumber, so I HAD to turn off the video immediately!!
Glad you found your notebook, it's always in the last place you look - isn't that the stupidest saying?

When my little guys are tired and put out and someone is having a good time, i.e. singing - they want everyone to be quiet - kind of like jabbing a finger until everyone feels just like they do! It's their way of saying, "Hey, I'm put out - can someone help me here."

Lol. When I was little my mom and older brother and sister would sing "home again, home again, jiggity jig," every time we would be nearly home and it PISSED ME OFF every time. I would freak out and they would just keep on, and laugh at me. It was just such a stupid saying.

It's a family joke now. And I do the same thing to my son now sometimes, only it's the theme from the cartoon "Kipper". I sing it lounge singer style.
