welcome to the grind. Meh. I don't do PTA for all the political stuff, but I do keep in contact with the kids' teachers as to what they need. I also keep in contact with the office staff and principals. Not saying PTA is bad by any means, but politics aren't on my elementary school plan.

Remind me not to piss you off... Seriously, I thought Kindy was going to be all cotton candy and rainbows - a year filled with beautiful memories, and I guess I set my expectations too high. If my kid can count to 100 and read by the end of the year, I guess I can be ok with that. So sorry to hear about all the drama - what a mess... Hope that your son is put in a room full of better kids (and moms) next year.
